Project Home PageProject Name: hierarchal menu tree Project Status: Active Project Manager: Brian Loomis Demo Link: http://wl.virtualrelations.us/brian/menuMap.lasso Description: This is a lassoscript that creates navigation expandable menu tree off of a MySQL table. Using the MySQL table as a content engine, you can add a large number of pages to a site and have this lassoscript build the menutree dynamically. It expands and collapses based on the page you are viewing and you can embed page content in the table as text or html and there is a content type column that allows you to specify what type of content is. I use this on several sites to specify that the content is html or plain text and use the appropriate -encode flag. I've also used this column to call external files as includes, and wrote a lassoscript for the main body of the page to detect the content type of that field. Look at the enclosed screenshot from Navicat to see how the different columns affect sort order, the outer part - to the inner part and I'll leave this link up on my server so that you can see how the menu functions. http://wl.virtualrelations.us/brian/menuMap.lasso Project work by Tonya Robbins and Brian Loomis NOTE: Click the version number to see the release notes, or click the Download link to download the code
